How are Weekend Warrior servers charged?
$0.50 per day of active play. We meter only the time someone is connected; standby hours don't burn budget. You start with a $15 bucket and most squads stretch one for months.
What happens when I've used up all of my credit?
If players are in-game when your bucket gets low, we won't put you on standby. We email a top-up reminder ahead of time so nobody gets surprised. Once the server idles, it goes on standby; add another $15 bucket and it resumes the moment someone joins. Nothing is lost in the meantime.
Are there refunds?
No. Pay-as-you-go means you only pay for play that already happened, so charges aren't refundable. A chargeback cancels your service immediately. If you'd rather move unused balance elsewhere, we'll migrate it to a Dedicated Game Server on INET Cloud.
Can I split the cost with my group?
Yes. Once your first bucket is in and your account is set up, you get a Group Pay link at gga.gg/pay. Share it with your squad — anyone can chip in, and the amount lands in your account bucket to keep the lights on.
Standby
What happens when a server goes on standby?
The server stops running and stops costing you credit. It snaps back to ready in seconds when someone joins again. Saves, configs, mods, RCON history all preserved.
When will my server go on standby?
Default is 1 hour with no players connected. Adjustable from your console (5 minutes to 24 hours).
Regions & swaps
What locations are available?
us-east is live today. More regions are coming — if you need EU or US-Central capacity, let us know and we'll prioritize.
Can I change locations?
Yes. Pick a new region from your console and we redeploy. Worldsave, configs, mods carry over.
Can I swap games?
Yes, anytime from your console. Same rental, different game.
What happens when a game swap or location swap occurs?
The server briefly drops out of the in-game browser, redeploys on the new region or game image, and reappears. Plan for a few minutes of downtime; players currently connected will be disconnected.
Can we move over to a permanent dedicated server?
Yes. Our parent platform INET Cloud sells dedicated game servers with full root, longer commits, and no standby. We'll port your Weekend Warrior config over and credit any unused balance.
Community
I'm a game / mod dev / community organizer. Can we work together?
Yes. Tournament hosting, mod beta servers, private community access — drop us a line and we'll figure out a deal. We've sponsored servers for community projects before.
Do you have a Discord?
No, and we don't plan to. We never quite understood why game server providers try to spin up Discord communities of their own. Our job is to keep your community alive, not crowd you with one more server to mute. We're always a chat away from inside your dashboard.
What kind of free swag do you offer?
Steam server tags, clan logos, and community page banners on request. Hit us up after your first $15 bucket runs through.

Terms of service
By using gga.gg you accept the terms below. Last updated 2026-05-02. Email hello@gga.gg with anything that doesn't read clearly.
The service. gga.gg rents game servers on a pay-as-you-go basis. You add credit to your account in $15 buckets. We meter active play at $0.50 per day. When players are connected, your bucket draws down. When the server is empty past your standby threshold, it idles and stops drawing.
Your account. You sign in with email + a one-time code. One account per person; you're responsible for what happens on it. Don't share login codes.
Payments. All payments are prepaid. We don't auto-renew. We don't store your card; payment is processed by Stripe. Buckets don't expire.
Refunds. Pay-as-you-go means you only pay for play that already happened, so charges are not refundable. A chargeback ends your service immediately. If you'd rather not keep using gga.gg, we'll migrate any unused balance to a Dedicated Game Server on INET Cloud (our parent platform).
Availability. We do our best to keep servers reachable, but at this price tier there's no formal SLA. Standby is automatic; it's a feature, not an outage. If something is genuinely broken, email us and we'll make it right.
Termination. You can close your account anytime; balance migrates per the refund policy above. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate the AUP below. We'll explain why when we do.
Changes. If we change these terms, existing customers get an email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
Privacy
What we collect.
- Email address for login and account communications.
- Payment metadata (Stripe customer ID, invoice IDs). We never see or store your card number.
- Server activity from your own rented servers (player joins/leaves, RCON commands, logs). This is yours; we use it to render your console.
- IP addresses in request logs for abuse and debugging.
Cookies. One session cookie for keeping you logged in. No third-party tracking, no advertising cookies, no analytics SDKs.
Who we share with.
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Resend: transactional email (login codes, receipts, top-up reminders).
That's it. We don't sell data and we don't run advertising.
Retention. Account data lives as long as your account does. Server logs roll off after 30 days. Billing records are kept for 7 years for tax purposes.
Your rights. Email hello@gga.gg if you want to access, export, or delete your data. We'll respond within 30 days.
Acceptable use
Don't do these on a gga.gg server:
- Cheat, exploit, or run cheats against other servers.
- Harass other players or use the server to coordinate harassment.
- Host illegal content (CSAM, threats, fraud, etc.).
- Run network scanning, denial-of-service, or amplification traffic.
- Distribute copyrighted content you don't have rights to.
- Resell gga.gg server access without telling us first.
If you're a server admin. You're expected to handle abuse reports for your own server in a reasonable amount of time. Keep your admin tools (RCON password, etc.) up to date. We won't second-guess your moderation calls; we will step in for the categories above.
Enforcement. For most issues we warn first, then suspend, then terminate. For active threats (DDoS amplification, illegal content, credible safety risk) we pull the server immediately and explain afterwards.
